DR. SANJIV MALIK, Chairman
Dr. Sanjiv Malik, the founder promoter of Mediworld Group is presently its Chairman. He was the National President of Indian Medical Association and the President of SAARC Medical Association. Dr. Malik has a plethora of activities to which he has contributed. Publisher of over 900 publications he has been the organiser or guiding force behind innumerable major national and international conferences and the guiding spirit behind many CME’s and healthcare check-ups and treatment camps. He was a member of the Central Council of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India as well as Drug Technical Advisory Board of the Country (DTAB) of Govt. of India. He was also a member of Delhi Medical Council and Indian representative on the World Medical Association. He was a member of the Planning Commission Steering Committee of Health.
Dr Sanjiv Malik founded the Spero Group of Hospitals and served as its Chairman & Managing Director till recently. He was Chairman of Subharti Medical & Dental Colleges. He was advisor to Max group of Hospitals on Healthcare Risk Management and presently also provides these services to many medical institutions. He has also served as member, Central Ethics Committee of Fortis Group of Hospitals. He was a member of the advisory board for planning the medical college for IIT. In recognition of his services to the profession and humanity, Dr. Sanjiv Malik was conferred India’s highest award for a physician, Dr. B.C. Roy National Award by Honorable President of India Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Dr. Sanjiv Malik was also chosen as the only Indian to figure in the WMA’s publication Caring Physicians of the world to be amongst the 63 most caring physicians of the globe.
